I get a little sad this time of year, when I think about the peonies that I planted in the yard I no longer own, blooming for a person I’ve never met, who could never love them as much as my niece and I did.

My favorite (okay, ONLY) nephew, Liam turns 10 years old today. He’s brilliant, talented, and still so cute I wanna pinch his cheeks every time I see him. (I get it now, Aunt Eunice.)
