Oh my God, this video of girls in Wildwood, N.J. in 1992 is amaaaaaazing. The pay phone scene at the end is perfection.
Oh. My. Gawd. 1992 was the summer I left New Jersey. I was just about to start high school, so these girls are my peers. My Detroit friends think I’m lying when I tell them stories about the Jersey Girls. It really is like a whole different world in that little state.
P.S. — My hair looked just like that. And I tawked like them too. But I never put anyone in the hospital. I wasn’t cool enough.
